In Green

In Green

"I painted this little Plein air piece on a hill top memorial in Midway Utah.

It was hot, I was surrounded by exciting women/artists/friends. It was an unusually green summer all the way from Colorado, through Wyoming to the pastures below me the distance.

There’s a lesson in seeing so much green and not dismissing it as all the same. Looking for the similarities between shades and celebrating the subtle differences that exist within the whole feels important."

It feels like a kind of grace."
